Bracha Weisbarth was born in the Ukraine. When the German army occupied
the region where she lived, her parents escaped to the forest, joined
a partisan unit and faught the enemy. After liberation, the family lived
for a few years in a Displaced Persons camp in Germany, before moving
on to Israel in 1948, where Bracha grew up. She is currently living
with her husband in Morristown, New Jersey, where she works as the Director
of Library Services at the Waldor Memorial Library of the Jewish Education
Association of MetroWest. Bracha is the proud grandmother of four granddaughters.
