Datz, Rabbi Michael

Rabbi Michael Datz received his law degree from the University of Houston, and then attended Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion in Jerusalem and Cincinnati. Ordained as a Reform Rabbi in 1987, he has served congregations in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. He is currently the spiritual leader for Temple B'rith Shalom in Springfield, Illinois. He writes a regular column for his local newspaper as well as annual Chanukah plays for children. His story The Three Wishes of Nathan the Wise appears in Jewish Humor Stories for Kids.
